Storms of the Heart & Mind…

Mat 8:23 And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him.

Mat 8:24 And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.

Mat 8:25 And his disciples came to [him], and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.

Mat 8:26 And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

“Recent research says the magnetic nature of human emotion is directly linked to weather patterns and the barometric pressure.”

Our thoughts and emotions are the building blocks of our physical reality. As the ancient spiritual scientists stated ages ago “As Above so Below”. Thus the interdependent relationship between us, our consciousness(above) and and the atmospheres(Below) around us.

the Gospels as well as other places in the scriptures such as the book of Jonah and the story of Noah’s Ark speak about great winds coming up against ships. In each of the cases you are witnessing man in the midst of his turbulent thoughts and emotions or in the case of the above scriptures you’re seeing him internalizing the turbulent thoughts and emotions of others consciousness(I.E. the demon possessed on the shores they were approaching Math8:28)

Each of these scenarios reveals a powerful truth. And that truth is that whatever we focus upon, feast upon, internalize, and energize in our inner world will be given life and reflected in the atmospheres outside of us.

Perhaps even more powerful though, is the fact that each of the scenarios reveal that these manifest moments of chaos, fear, and confusion serve as potential opportunities for personal transformation through our Christ Nature.

We see this Math8:26 in that the Disciples(our thoughts coming together) create space, moments in time, between the tumultuous thoughts and emotions that rise(awakening of the light in our Flesh) in us during the storms that we manifests in our lives. Space to turn our thoughts(Disciples) to that which we have unconsciously allowed to sleep within(the Christ Nature). That which is the not bound by time, is limitless in power, and has dominance over all atmospheres. The light of the Christ resides within the Boat(body) asleep awaiting us to awakening it with our desires to reconnect with what is real behind the mask of the physical circumstances.

In Math8:26 The light in the Flesh speaks to the Winds and the Seas and they are calmed. The word for winds in the Greek is “anemos” which means lower or more denser air as opposed to higher air. Air is a metaphor for spiritual thought, so lower more denser air is symbolic of lower nature more animalistic thoughts in man(Demonic/Negative thoughts/Thinking). The Seas represent the negative emotional chaos and attachments created as a result of the lower beast nature thinking of the demon possessed on the shores that the disciples internalized.

So, in seeing this we see that once we become receptive and disciplined by the light manifest in our Flesh we transcend our bondage to our negative lower nature thinking and the cancerous emotions that manifest storms in ours and others lives and even gain power over the illusive forces of our physical atmospheres and weather patterns.
